Vortex Logistics is an international service provider specialized in groupage transport. With a considerable diversity of customers, we transport everything that fits in a trailer. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a passionate colleague with experience for the position of forwarding agent / planner.

As a forwarder / planner you make an important contribution to the process of loading and delivering the goods to the customers on the right day and at the right time. To make this process as smooth and effective as possible, you look at the optimal options, negotiate rates and ensure that all agreements are complied with. You are a pivot in the web in the communication between customer service, planning and cross-dock employees.

Our customer base is very varied. From euro pallets to paper rolls and from big bags to goods with special dimensions. Our task is to transport the goods correctly from A to B with the entire team. The forwarding department is an important link in this process. With the right knowledge and motivation, we teach you these links and processes.

Job requirements
You have:
● Minimum MBO working and thinking level
● Affinity with transport
● A good command of the Dutch language, spoken and written
● Also knowledge of the German and English language
● Good communication skills
● A "don't shit, brush" mentality and are eager to learn
● You know how to tackle things
